Chef Damel Diyari, a Hudson Valley mainstay who honed his expertise under 3 Michelin star chef Marco Pierre White and 2 Michelin star chef Terrance Brennan. Locally, he’s made his mark in kitchens like Heritage Food + Drink in Wappingers Falls, where he was executive sous chef, and Hudson Taco in Newburgh. Chef Diyari is the head chef at Pure, located in Poughkeepsie, is the host of his very on cooking show, and runs a private fine dining company.
Born and raised in Poughkeepsie NY. Chef Che mixed all the ingredients of his life both the good and bad, struggles and success and creates a signature style that shines beyond his one of a kind dishes. Chef Che embarked on his first externship program at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Graduated at the top of his class from the World famous Culinary Institute of America. Chef Che has garnered experience working in several distinguished restaurants such as Pacific Time and Shore Club in South Beach Miami, Le Soir in Boston, Ma, and Chelsea 24 Restaurant Cafeteria to name a few. Chef ache also was a staring cast member of Bavo’s TV reality show Chef Roble & Co. Currently Gaines heads at Bistro Two Eighteen, in Birmingham.
